What is CVE-2026-1770?

CVE-2026-1770 is a code injection flaw in CrafterCMS. Attacker-controlled input is evaluated as code by the application runtime, giving the attacker arbitrary execution inside the process. Vendor description: Improper Control of Dynamically-Managed Code Resources vulnerability in Crafter Studio of Crafter CMS allows authenticated developers to execute OS commands via Groovy Sandbox Bypass. By inserting malicious Groovy elements, an attacker may bypass sandbox restrictions and obtain RCE (Remote Code Execution).

Why this CVE matters

Code injection against an application server is a direct path to remote code execution. The attacker executes inside the application runtime, which means database credentials, integration keys, and any secrets the process has loaded in memory are all exposed.
