What is CVE-2026-43314?
CVE-2026-43314 is a security vulnerability in Linux. In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
dm: remove fake timeout to avoid leak request
Since commit 15f73f5b3e59 ("blk-mq: move failure injection out of
blk_mq_complete_request"), drivers are responsible for calling

After the upgrade, restart any service that loads the patched binary so the new code is actually running.

Patching is the only durable fix. These mitigations cut exposure while the change window is scheduled. They do not remove the vulnerability.
