What is CVE-2026-45773?
CVE-2026-45773 is a cross-site request forgery (CSRF) flaw in turborepo. The product accepts state-changing requests without validating that they originated from a legitimate user session, so an attacker can trick a logged-in victim into performing privileged actions. Vendor description: Turborepo is a high-performance build system for JavaScript and TypeScript codebases. Prior to 2.9.14, Turborepo's self-hosted login and SSO browser flows did not validate a CSRF state value on the localhost callback.
Why this CVE matters
CSRF against an administrative endpoint converts a phishing link into a full account-state change. The vulnerability gets dangerous when chained with social engineering that lures an authenticated administrator to open the malicious URL.

If you cannot patch immediately
Require re-authentication for state-changing actions, or apply a same-site cookie policy (SameSite=Lax or Strict) on session cookies to limit cross-origin POSTs. Patch as the durable fix.
